The early years are crucial in a child’s developmental journey.
VEIP offers tailored educational and therapeutic services in a
nurturing, play-based environment that supports growth in:

Each child’s journey is unique, that’s why our expert team creates
individualized intervention plans that encourage confidence, reduce
frustration, and foster joyful learning.

Our Service Delivery Model and Professional Staffing Framework

Small group size (typically 4-6 children) to allow for individualized attention

Staffed by: - Developmental Specialists - SLPs, OTs, PTs, (as needed) - Family support co-ordinators

Program runs multiple days per week

Progress is tracked continuously and reviewed quarterly

Comprehensive Child-Centered Services

Occupational Therapy

We work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers who may:

  • Have developmental delays or disabilities
  • Experience difficulty with motor skills (fine or gross motor)
  • Show delays in self-care activities (feeding, dressing, toileting)
  • Have sensory processing differences and sensory integration
  • Struggle with attention, play, or social interaction

Whether your child has a diagnosed condition or you simply have concerns about their development, early support can make a significant difference.

SPEECH THERAPY & AUDIOLOGY

Our speech-language pathologists (SLPs) help young children : 

  • Develop first words and expand vocabulary
  • Improve speech clarity and sound production
  • Build understanding of language and follow directions
  • Strengthen social communication and interaction skills
  • Reduce frustration caused by communication challenges

Our paediatric audiologists specialize in :

  • Comprehensive hearing evaluations for infants and young children
  • Early detection of hearing loss or auditory processing difficulties
  • Fitting and management of hearing aids or assistive listening devices
  • Ongoing hearing health monitoring and family education

PHYSIOTHERAPY

We work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers who may :

  • Have delayed motor milestones (not rolling, sitting, crawling, or walking at expected ages)
  • Struggle with balance or coordination
  • Show muscle weakness, stiffness, or low tone
  • Have diagnosed conditions (eg Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism or ASD, Developmental Delay.
  • Show asymmetrical movement patterns (e.g., favouring one side)

DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY

  • Developmental psychologist looks at how children grow and change across emotional, social, and thinking skills.
  • In the early years, a child’s brain is rapidly forming connections that influence how they learn, manage emotions, and interact with the world.
  • By identifying and addressing challenges early, we can support healthy development and prevent future difficulties.

YOGA THERAPY

  • Yoga therapy adapts traditional yoga techniques to meet the developmental needs of young children, particularly those with delays, sensory challenges, or emotional regulation difficulties.
  • In the early years, simple guided movement, breath work, and relaxation activities can  help children develop essential skills for learning,  socializing, and   self-care.

PARENTAL COUNSELLING

We provide a safe, non-judgmental space where parents can share concerns and gain practical strategies.

  • Empowering – equipping parents with tools to handle everyday challenges
  • Holistic – addressing family dynamics, communication,
    and emotional health

The Vydehi Early Intervention Program (VEIP) is incredibly close to my heart, with a deep personal commitment to creating a space where young children with special needs are truly seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are. With the support of a passionate and skilled team, we work every day to provide an environment where each child is nurtured as an individual. Our approach is built on patience, love, and the understanding that progress looks different for everyone – and that every step forward is worth celebrating. I believe deeply in the mission, the children, and the families we serve.
