Music Therapy for Autism

Autistic children often exhibit a high level of preference for the music modality; have a highly accurate memory for song lyrics, better initiation of singing as compared to speaking. Participating in music therapy allows the autistic child an opportunity to experience non-threatening outside stimulation, as they don't engage in direct human contact. Music therapy helps in:
